The ISU Horticulture Club is a self-funded student organization, and takes part in a wide variety of fun and educational activities year-round. Having fun is the most important part of what we do, so to ensure all our members can join in the fun, the club subsidizes the cost of all group activities and excursions.
To cover the cost of providing our members with so many exciting experiences, the club hosts several seasonal fundraisers: Fallfest, our winter Poinsettia Sale, our Valentine’s Day Rose Sale, and our Spring Plant Sale. A committee of dedicated members is elected to organize each of these fundraisers, but everyone in the club gets a chance to have fun and help out!
The revenue generated by these fundraisers is what makes all of our club activities possible. The funds we raise allow us maintain our presence at ISU and stay connected with the student body and the community, so we sincerely appreciate all the support we receive from ISU and Ames area residents.
